PROJECT ENGINEER ~ £34k Plus
With benefits of pension scheme and life assurance.
Your task will be to ensure timely, safe and cost effective design and implementation of projects.
This will include client & supplier liaison, resource planning & SDRL Management in conjunction with others.
You will support the Engineering Project Manager and / or the Engineering Director with project planning, system design, testing & the associated documentation.
You will need a Mechanical Engineering background allied with project management skills and experience of working on manufacturing projects which incorporate heavy equipment.
Technical knowledge of pumping systems and/or “package-build” equipment using motors and diesel engines will also be a requirement.
You should also be able to demonstrate draughting experience and competence using 3D CAD (Solid Edge or Solid Works).
Starting salary will be dependant on your experience which must be supported by recognised academic qualifications.

TENDERING ENGINEER
Circa £32,000 to £38,000 depending on qualifications and experience.

Due to continued prospects and growth we are adding to our team of Tendering Engineers. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive company with extensive international markets including potential for expansion in to the Middle East.
As a key member of the Advance Engineering Group dealing with highly detailed and high value engineering tenders you will need significant technical and practical understanding of mobile & fixed rotating equipment including hydraulics, electrics, diesel and pumps.
We are looking for substantial experience, commercial acumen and the ability to deliver solutions. With an engineering background allied with excellent project management skills, your role will be to interpret and respond to a wide range of both straight forward and complex technical specifications in order to propose and present design concepts and costings to customers and other stakeholders.
And, you will need to possess excellent liaison and communication skills and be able to interface with major national and international customers.

Continued business growth means we now have a vacancy for a specialist Market Researcher to support our Sales Team.
Your role will be to provide market intelligence relevant to new contract awards by major Oil & Gas producers, EPC contractors and Industrial users. You will use a variety of research techniques including web based research, direct customer contact, referrals and existing company database to determine project activity in the market.
You will support the sales team by establishing knowledge and trends in the industry, including potential applications, market requirements, product and application needs. Your excellent IT skills will ensure that you are able to maintain and analyse databases covering; project contacts, potential customers, business opportunities, project databases & timescales, and activity forecasting.
The ideal candidate will have an engineering background, considerable knowledge of the oil and gas market coupled with experience of market research in the sector. You will also need to be disciplined, diligent, focussed and possess an eye for detail: And have the ability to apply those attributes for long periods.
You will need proven capability for oral and written communication at all levels as well as having excellent analytical, presentation and problem solving skills.
The ability to establish a solid working relationship with clients and colleagues is essential.
