Calder Ltd is a specialist designer and manufacturer of bespoke high pressure pumping equipment based in Worcester. We supply to a wide range of industries from Automotive (BMW, Honda, Toyota, & Land Rover) to Offshore Oil & Gas (BP, Total, Shell & Talisman).
Our focus is at the high end of the market where our 25 year history and reputation for quality and reliability has established us as the market leader. Project values range from £50,000 up to £5 million.
CURRENT VACANCIES
Engineering Project Manager ~ £40k plus.
With benefits of pension scheme & life assurance.
As Project Manager reporting to the Engineering Director, you will take total project responsibility for managing the design, technical specification, liaison with the client, documentation, overseeing the build, FAT and organising installation and commissionin.
Experience of certification and association documentation would be useful, but not essential.
Detailed design will usually be done by others, but you must have a sound working knowledge of 3D CAD (Solid Edge or Solid Works).
Experience of process industry and hazardous area working is essential.
The preferred candidate will have experience of diesel engines and/or electric motor driven equipment in power ranges from 30kW to 2000 kW. You will also have a good knowledge of hydraulics & electro mechanical control systems. Previous experience in the European Oil & Gas industry would be an asset.
Starting salary will be dependant on your experience which must be supported by recognised academic qualifications.
